Infants and Toddlers

3 Months – 2 Years

Our approach to infant and toddler care is influenced by the RIE philosophy (Resources for Infant Educarers), which values respect for each child’s unique individuality and encourages free movement and natural learning.

We promote positive attachment through assigning key teachers and promoting familiar faces, allowing infants and toddlers to build strong connections with their Kaiako.

We see infants and toddlers as capable and competent explorers, who are able to learn and discover through play in a secure and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Our goal is to empower children to grow and learn at their own pace, while also providing support and guidance along the way.
